Cursed is a cheeky, magical pantomime full of mischief, music, and mayhem.
Prince Frederick is back in the Kingdom of Lily, but things are not as he left them. With a royal deadline looming, he must find a princess to marry before his birthday or risk losing the crown to his villainous cousin Gregory.
Luckily, Fred’s childhood best friend Fran is a witch with a few tricks up her sleeve. But in true panto fashion, spells do not always go to plan, and the kingdom soon finds itself in a right royal pickle.
The show features a hero with a heart and a habit of tripping over things, a well-meaning witch, a mysterious transformation, a Dame who knows how to command a stage and plenty more colourful characters.
Audiences can expect songs ranging from beloved classics to recent chart-toppers, pun-filled dialogue, and an array of the pantomime standards: from call-and-response to boo-worthy villains and chaotic flashbacks. It is the perfect show for all ages – from wide-eyed littlies to seasoned panto lovers.
Cursed is a joyful celebration of pantomime traditions with a twist.

THEATRE TO DIE FOR
Three short One Act Plays.
“STRAWBERRY JAM” a comedy by Bruce Fisk. Directed by Rob Warner.
Strawberry Jam is a comedy dealing with two elderly sisters
living in England in the 70s as their father dies six months too early.
The sisters must act quickly in order to avoid a Death Duty, which would affect their inheritance.
“THE ACTOR’S NIGHTMARE” a dark comedy by Christopher Durang. Directed by Nera Camponovo.
Picture this: You wake up in a show you haven’t rehearsed,
a play you don’t know the lines to or a production that keeps changing.
If you’re a performer of any kind, then you know the dream all too well.
In this absurdist dark comedy, George Spelvin is thrust into a show he hasn’t rehearsed,
not only that but he can’t quite figure out what play he is meant to be in.
Watch him struggle to put the pieces together with fragments of
Hamlet, Private Lives and Waiting for Godot in this hilarious nightmare
that every actor has at some point in their careers.
“PLEASE WAIT” by Thomas Dimmick. Directed by Siobhan Vincent.
An exquisite absurdist piece redolent with gentle humour and pathos.
This play is a beautiful and locally written exploration of the theatre of the absurd.
Written by well-known award-winning local actor Thomas Dimmock, it will engage and entrance.
It is ostensibly a play about three patrons waiting to access a restaurant;
however it is for you, the audience to decide where they are.
