He estimated his funds raised to be around $250k.\nHe often spoke of the great time had on the bash runs in car number 13\, his crew & the great friendships made. And of course\, the children – their spirit and love\, fueled his compassion and determination to give back.\nDom believed all kids deserve a fair go! \nSo\, in an effort of “Doing It For Dom!”\, Elenor and her amazing friend Chantal\, will be participating in the National Variety Bash with “Giddy Up Car #13” – two crazy cowgals hitting the rough outback of WA & SA. \nWHO IS VARIETY? \nVariety – the Children’s Charity supports kids & their families facing challenges due to sickness\, disadvantage or living with a disability. Variety has a high profile in Australia & internationally. Their slogan of “all kids deserve a fair go” has no boundaries & reaches everyone. We think all people agree every child is precious & deserving of support. \nWHAT IS THE BASH? \nThe Variety Bash is uniquely Australian & signifies our good hearts\, camaraderie & mateship. Basically\, a band of like-minded\, fun seeking fundraisers jump in a 2wd vehicle that’s a minimum age of 25 years to navigate a course over dirt tracks & creekbeds\, avoiding the sealed black-top roads as much as we can. \nAlong the way we visit outback towns & communities raising funds & awareness\, sharing fun & good times with all.
