David Croft & Jeremy Lloyd\nDirected by Sean Duff\nPerforming 1\, 8\, 15\, 22 AUGUST 2026\, 2pm & 7.30pm. \nA light-hearted observation of the lives of the staff of the fictional department store Grace Brothers. \nThe play focuses on interpersonal relationships and events affecting the running of the store. The script is to some extent a parody of the British class system\, evidenced by the use of the characters’ titles & surnames\, rather than their Christian names. \nThe play features sexual innuendo\, misunderstandings\, mistaken identity\, farce\, sight gags and occasional slapstick. It is laced with double entendres and is distinctly a snapshot of its time and place\, 1970s Britain. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBOOK ONLINE\n\nPhone Bookings: 0413 613 256\nMon – Fri 12noon to 8pm\nemail enquiry here \n\n\n\n\nTRAVELING NORTH\nWritten by David Williamson\nDirected by Steven Wimmer\nPerforming 7\, 14\, 21\, 28 NOVEMBER 2026\, 2pm & 7.30pm. \nFrank is 70. He wants to ‘travel north’ to escape the cold. Frances\, his girlfriend\, is 20 years younger and is worried about leaving her daughters\, who think Frank just wants someone to look after him. \nThey could be right – but Frances takes the chance and they move to a rustic\, rundown cottage in North Queensland where they meet Freddy\, a helpful neighbour\, and the local doctor Saul… who picks up on Frank’s heart condition. It appears life isn’t going to be quite as easy as they thought! \nWritten in the 1970s\, this is one of David Williamson’s more serious plays albeit with some of Davidson’s distinctive one-liners. It’s about love\, aging – and the complexities of family relationships. \nCABARET TABLE SEATING \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n* \n\n\n\n\n\nLIKE TO PURCHASE\nA GIFT VOUCHER? \nGift Vouchers can be organised by phoning Richmond Players Booking ph 0413 613 256\nand coordinate your requirements with\nMelz from TAZ Tix.\nGeneral enquiries email here
