Bernard, a bachelor in the 1960’s, has a flat in Paris with not one, not two, but three airline stewardesses engaged to him – without knowing about each other.
His life gets bumpy, indeed, as his careful planning comes unstuck with new airline schedules, faster jets and unseasonable weather. Surely all three stewardesses can’t all be in the same city at the same time. Or can they?
In an enlightened world of feminism and #Me-too-ism, how can an apparently sexist play about an over-confident architect juggling physical romances with three separate women be so compelling? Perhaps because it seems farfetched; perhaps because farce can be very funny! It is written to a formula that includes an open-mouthed sidekick, a belligerent maid and doors flapping with such force and frequency that they threaten, like the characters, to become completely unhinged.
Featuring: Michael Eadie, James McLanders, Hayley Taylor, Orana Keen, Niamh McKervey, Susan Artup.
This is a BYO event – please feel free to bring snacks and your own beverages.

HMS PINAFORE
Written by Arthur Sullivan and W.S. Gilbert
Directed by Christine O’Keeffe & Naomi Degabriele
Performing 9, 16, 23, 30 MAY 2026, 2pm & 7.30pm.
A cross between ‘Titanic’ (without the sinking) and ‘The Love Boat’, HMS Pinafore promises a rollicking good time for audiences and cast alike.
Tongue-twisting songs, instantly hummable tunes, outrageous plot twists and social satire are against the “mostly authentic” historical backdrop of the late 19th century English Navy.

ARE YOU BEING SERVED ?
Written by B. David Croft & Jeremy Lloyd
Directed by Sean Duff
Performing 1, 8, 15, 22 AUGUST 2026, 2pm & 7.30pm.
A light-hearted observation of the lives of the staff of the fictional department store Grace Brothers.
The play focuses on interpersonal relationships and events affecting the running of the store. The script is to some extent a parody of the British class system, evidenced by the use of the characters’ titles & surnames, rather than their Christian names.
The play features sexual innuendo, misunderstandings, mistaken identity, farce, sight gags and occasional slapstick. It is laced with double entendres and is distinctly a snapshot of its time and place, 1970s Britain.

TRAVELING NORTH
Written by David Williamson
Directed by Steven Wimmer
Performing 7, 14, 21, 28 NOVEMBER 2026, 2pm & 7.30pm.
Frank is 70. He wants to ‘travel north’ to escape the cold. Frances, his girlfriend, is 20 years younger and is worried about leaving her daughters, who think Frank just wants someone to look after him.
They could be right – but Frances takes the chance and they move to a rustic, rundown cottage in North Queensland where they meet Freddy, a helpful neighbour, and the local doctor Saul… who picks up on Frank’s heart condition. It appears life isn’t going to be quite as easy as they thought!
Written in the 1970s, this is one of David Williamson’s more serious plays albeit with some of Davidson’s distinctive one-liners. It’s about love, aging – and the complexities of family relationships.
