In 1949, Dr. Jacob “Bruno” Bronowski installs a secret room in his house. Fifty years later, his grandson and his blind date delve into Bruno’s locked room for the first time, unearthing echoes from across six million years of human history.
Secret Life of Humans is a historical-fictional play, surrounding the legacy of real-life mathematician and documentarian Jacob ‘Bruno’ Bronowski. It poses questions that touch on the morality and ethics of the human race, all under the guise of a tinder-date.
It’s mix of humour and drama frames a familiar relatability and struggles to answer the big questions it presents – questions we all struggle to find the answers to.
